Digital Preservation

Preservation Infrastructure

IJAS utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports integration with internationally recognized preservation systems, including:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

These systems provide distributed and redundant storage across multiple secure locations, ensuring the durability and availability of journal content over time.

Data Security and Backup

  • Regular system backups are performed to prevent data loss
  • Secure servers and controlled access are maintained to protect journal data
  • Redundant storage mechanisms ensure multiple copies of all published content

Sustainability and Continuity

IJAS ensures that all published articles will remain accessible even in the event of system failure or discontinuation of the journal.

The journal continuously updates its digital preservation practices to align with international standards and technological advancements.

This commitment guarantees the long-term availability and reliability of IJAS content for the global research community.
