Archiving Policy

The Iraqi Journal for Applied Science (IJAS) ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through reliable digital archiving systems.

The journal utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports archiving and preservation through internationally recognized systems.

Digital Archiving Systems

IJAS is committed to preserving its content through:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

These systems ensure that multiple copies of the journal content are securely stored and preserved across distributed networks, protecting against data loss.

Institutional Archiving

All published articles are also archived within the official repository of the University of Diyala to ensure additional backup and institutional preservation.

Access Guarantee

In the event that the journal ceases publication, all archived content will remain permanently accessible through the preservation systems.

IJAS is committed to maintaining permanent access to its scholarly content in accordance with international digital preservation standards.
