Advertising Policy
Advertising Policy
The Iraqi Journal for Applied Science (IJAS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial independence, transparency, and integrity.
Advertising
At present, IJAS does not publish commercial advertisements on its website, within its published articles, or in any other journal content.
Should advertising be introduced in the future, the following principles will apply:
- Advertisements will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
- Advertising shall not influence editorial decisions, peer-review processes, manuscript acceptance, or publication outcomes.
- Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scientific merit, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
- The journal reserves the right to reject any advertisement that is misleading, deceptive, unethical, offensive, or inconsistent with the journal's mission and academic standards.
- Advertisements for products or services that conflict with accepted scientific, ethical, or legal standards will not be accepted.
Editorial Independence
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board retain full authority over all editorial decisions. Advertising revenue, sponsorship, or commercial relationships shall never influence editorial policies or publication decisions.
Transparency
Any future advertising arrangements will be managed transparently and in accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, and internationally recognized publishing standards.
