Synthesis, characterization, and antibacterial activity of some new metal complexes containing semicarbazide

The research encompassed both the initial setup and detailed description of the N-cyclohexyl-2-((dimethylcabamoyl)carbamothioyl) hydrazine-1-carboxamide (L). Metal ions Co+2 , Ni+2, and Cu+2 were combined with the ligand(L) to form three transition metal complexes .The chemical formulas are the following [LCoCl2H2O] ,[LNiCl2H2O] ,[LCuCl2H2O], was derived from a process in which the metals were mixed in a [1:1]mole ratio with methanol(MeOH) acting as a cofactor. Several physicochemical techniques proved that the ligand and its metal complexes were in the expected structural form ,revealing the structure of the ligand -metal complex. by the use of numerous infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) , electronic spectra , nuclear magnetic resonance spectra (1H-NMR and 13C-NMR), molar conductivities, magnetic susceptibility and melting points, Isolation of three-coordinate complexes with deformed octahedral geometry around the core atom was determined by the spectral and analytical investigations for the Co+2 ,Ni+2 and Cu+2 atoms. We looked into its antibacterial properties ,both (G+) and (G-) bacterial
